  • Directions to Bay Central Shopping Centre

    • Travelling By Car

      Bay Central Shopping centre is located 1 km north of downtown Tauranga CBD, and with ample free carparking, finding a park is easy, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing shopping trip.

      If you are coming from the Tauranga CBD, continue along Cameron Road until it becomes Chapel Street just after the State Highway 2/Pacific Coast Highway underpass. Bay Central Shopping Centre will be on your right.

      If you are coming from the State Highway 2/Pacific Coast Highway, then take the exit towards Otumoetai and then turn left onto Chapel Street. Bay Central Shopping Centre will be on your right.

      If you are coming from Mt Maunganui, take State Highway 2/Pacific Coast Highway towards Tauranga and then take the exit towards Otumoetai. Turn right onto Chapel Street and Bay Central Shopping Centre will be on your right.

    • Travelling By Bus

      Bus stops are conveniently located outside the centre, ensuring travelling here by public transport is nice and easy.

  • We have free customer car parking for up to three hours (P180) in the Bay Central Shopping Centre car parks. Please note some car parks are only available for 90 minutes (P90) and these are located outside Anytime Fitness, Wet & Forget, Kitchen Things and Lighting Direct. Please see the Centre map for further information.

    • Mobility Parking

      Bay Central Shopping Centre has designated mobility parking positioned at various locations throughout the Centre. For further information on where these mobility parks are located, please view the Centre Map.

    • Bicycle Parking

      We encourage cycling to Bay Central Shopping Centre and provide bicycle stands throughout the Centre. These are located outside Anytime Fitness, Wet & Forget, Briscoes and Rebel Sport. For further information on the location of these bicycle stands please see the Centre Map.

    • Parking Infringement Notice

      If you exceed the time limit in the designated parking zone, you will be issued with an infringement notice and a fee will be payable to Parking Enforcement Services. Payment is required within 21 days – please see the back of the notice for details. If you would like to appeal, write to Parking Enforcement Services, PO Box 8290 Symonds Street Auckland, and let them know why you are appealing. They can also be contacted on 0800 727 536 or by visiting their website. All contact details are listed on the infringement notice.
